Classic stone terrace!
As the construction of a stone terrace is much more complicated than a wooden terrace, stone terraces are becoming popular with more and more DIY enthusiasts. Stone terraces are very solid and at the same time easy to maintain. The materials and tools needed to build a classic stone terrace can be found in the following list:
Gravel (for the base course);
Mini excavators or shovels;
Mason’s cord and wooden pegs;
possibly wheelbarrow (for stone transport);
How can you create a classic stone terrace?

Found everything? Then start!
Step 1: Prepare the Underground! First, dig out the soil! Depending on your taste with a small mini excavator do it, or with shovels! But make sure that with blades it takes a little longer!
Step 2: Apply a base layer of gravel! Make sure that it is at least 20 cm thick. Under the base course you need a layer of frost-free gravel! Lay a 5 cm thick layer of sand on the base course!
Step 3: Lay the plates! Lay the laying area with wooden posts and mason’s string! Knock plates in with a rubber mallet! Check with a spirit level and level if the terrace is level! Use joint crosses to get exactly the same joints!
Step 4: Fasten the joints! If all stones are laid, join in joint sand in several operations!

Construction of a terrace with stone wall!
First, roughly stake out the patio size and cut off the grass!
Then lay cables and conduits for electricity on the floor!
Cover the floor with fleece and apply the dimpled sheet around the wall!
Then distribute 16 tons of gravel with a shovel and wheelbarrow bit by bit on the fleece!
Shake off the gravel layer by layer with the vibrating plate!
Build a clean leash and cast in plant rings!
Put the first row of bricks clean in balance on concrete! Then let it dry!
Then wall the remaining rows! Pull up the remaining stones and glue them with flexible glue!
Bring in chippings and remove them step by step cleanly on a slope! For this you need heating pipes, slats and spirit levels! Cover the grit with plates!
Lay panels and fix with concrete!
Done is the self-built terrace with stone wall!
