Patchwork blanket directions

Since humanity exists, people have used their hands for practical as well as creative purposes. From the earliest primitive tools and cave drawings, to the ancient cultures of Egypt and Mesopotamia, from the Middle Ages to the European art epochs, and now in modern times, people want to continue creating and innovating. Despite advances in technology, people continue to rely on the beauty of handmade creations. Steppen is an art form still practiced in modern society and is one whose roots can be traced back to ancient civilizations. We have attached a patchwork blanket instruction.

When choosing your fabrics, try to stick to the same weight and type of materials. I found out after cutting that the pink butterfly fabric was too heavy and too thick for the other fabrics.

So, save yourself a trip back to the factory to choose a different material. Also, make sure your fabrics are machine washable.
Wash, dry and iron all fabrics to avoid any shrinkage after your ptchwork blanket is ready.
Cut 33 squares of fabrics 1 through 5 and 34 squares of fabric 6.

Once you’ve cut the squares, lay one layer, one pattern, one layer (or vice versa) side by side, and so on, to determine how you want to work out your patterns. The last color is the most striking on the ceiling. Once you have decided how you want to lay your pieces in the whole design, give each fabric a number from 1 to 6 and place them in the order on the table so that you only have to move the line down when they are taken out of the piles and added to your quilt blanket.

When you cut your squares by hand, pinking shears are the best choice to prevent breakouts because heavy handling increases the risk of lumpy areas forming under the sutures.

Step 2: Start with the first rows

When sewing the pieces together, make sure each row ends with the same fabric as the next.
When you finish a strip, compare the length with that of the previous one.

Step 3:
Once you reach the middle, attach the last squares with a needle ..
Step 4: Half finished

Adding the lines to your blanket makes it bulky to get them all to the machine.

I recommend stitching the strips together until you reach the middle row and repeat the same for the lower half of the blanket.
Once the bottom half is complete, put it on the top half and staple the two halves together. In this way, you only have to deal with the whole ceiling once.

Step 5: Exit
You can now add the edges. If you have an overhang, you can sew extra pillows that would fit perfectly with your patchwork quilt. If you do not want to add borders, you only need the cotton wool and backing to finish the blanket.

NOTE: It is usually less expensive to buy a flat sheet or backing sheet. So you also have pillowcases and a lower arch that completely match
